Guarantee growing sector

As the population continues to age, demand for care will increase and the types of care needed will change. The Office for National Statistics predicts a 36% growth in persons aged 85+ between 2015 and 2025, from 1.5 million to 2 million. This is expected to lead to a substantial increase in demand for care home services.

Low start up costs

Our low start-up cost of £3,997 provides you with everything you need to get your business started. In addition to the franchise investment, there is a monthly franchise fee of 10% of your turnover (minimum payable of £100 per month, maximum of £200 per month). This fee is waivered for the first 2 months of trading, so you would start paying it at the end of your 3rd month with us.

FREE one-month marketing and sales launch package
For the first month, you will also receive one on one marketing support to help you get your business off to a successful start. The marketing support includes a dedicated Marketing Manager who will provide targeted marketing to your 50 closest care homes, each of whom will receive a printed newsletter for your territory, introductory call and follow up email. In addition to this, in your first month, we will write and distribute a regional press release and set up your social media accounts.

Large territories

We combine our understanding of the music and dementia sector with what you what to achieve. There’s no one-size-fits-all as each business is unique. Working together we will consider the geographical size and the opportunity size with you, to ensure you operate a territory which makes sense financially, and logistically.

Option to hire musicians to work with you

Many of our Musica Coordinators now manage a handful of freelance musicians, which not only dramatically increases their reach, but helps to cover maintenance costs.

How we operate

We operate a social franchise which means we use commercial franchising methods to achieve socially beneficial aims.

Franchise Fee

Our franchise package starts at just £2,4997 for a small territory (around 100 care homes) and £3,997 for start-up, as well as a 10% monthly franchisee fee (min £100) payable from month 3 of trading. We are able to help our franchisees to fund the franchise start-up should they so require.


We seek applications for any areas in the UK, and are currently actively looking to launch franchises in the following areas: East Sussex, Berkshire, Essex and Kent.
